She then moved to Chicago to continue her studies at the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. While in medical school, Dr. White also earned her MBA in Health Care Management from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
This program involved further international experience for Dr. White. She completed a summer internship in Cairo, Egypt, performing cost and feasibility analyses for the John Snow, Inc. (JSI) Healthy Mother/Healthy Child program.

Special Clinical Interests
In practice since 2009, Dr. White specializes in facial rejuvenation surgery and noninvasive treatments, cosmetic breast enhancement, and body contouring procedures, including:
Dr. White also particularly likes using BodyTite and FaceTite, when appropriate, to help patients diminish potentially large, visible surgical scars (such as with brachioplasty). She is passionate about creating custom treatment plans and ensuring that every patient feels safe, heard, informed, and respected, no matter which procedure they choose.
I do not subscribe to a cookie-cutter model of plastic surgery. For some, plastic surgery is about beauty. For me, it’s about strength. When you are comfortable in your own skin, you are empowered.”
– Dr. Aisha White

In the office, Dr. White is equally keen to educate her patients, particularly younger patients, about bodily autonomy and taking ownership of their bodies and health.
As the featured guest on a Women in Austin podcast episode, Dr. White explained:
If I ever sense in those situations that the [patient] isn’t mature enough yet to move forward with the surgery or is hesitant or has really come in just to please Mom, then we’ll talk through that and maybe put the brakes on surgery and talk about how that’s always an option in the future when [they’re] ready.”
She has shared her nuanced insights and expert guidance in other capacities, including grand round presentations on “The Influence of Social Media on Adolescent Body Image and the Decision to Undergo Cosmetic Procedures” at the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania and in a TV interview on TheGrio.
I tell patients all the time: The real purpose of the consultation isn’t for me to sell them on surgery; it’s for them to get the education.”
