The move to South Austin by the plastic surgery practice, in addition to its Round Rock location, gives patients more convenient access to their aesthetic services.
Austin, Texas (July 2017) – A lot has changed in the 8 years since Dr. Mahlon Kerr established Synergy Plastic Surgery, including the landscape surrounding the Austin plastic surgery practice’s Round Rock location.
“In the 8 years we’ve been in Austin,” Dr. Kerr says, “we’ve seen tremendous growth. “I think back to when our practice was centered in Round Rock, and we’d see cows grazing across the road from our office. Those cows aren’t there now.”
That growth is also reflected at Synergy Plastic Surgery, where Dr. Kerr specializes in cosmetic breast surgery and body contouring, including Mommy Makeover procedures. The Austin board-certified plastic surgeon has added another plastic surgeon, Dr. Ross Blagg, and continues expanding the nonsurgical services offered at Synergy MedSpa.
Dr. Kerr and Dr. Blagg perform more than 650 major surgeries each year, along with hundreds of minimally invasive and noninvasive procedures, such as BOTOX® Cosmetic and injectable fillers. They offer the services at both the Austin and Round Rock locations.
The new office, located near Bauerle Ranch and the Slaughter Creek Greenbelt, features a modern design that reflects the city’s progress. Dr. Kerr says patients can avoid the city’s troublesome traffic by going either north or south of downtown.
“I decided to look for a new office in South Austin because that is clearly where much of the growth is occurring,” Dr. Kerr says. “I wanted a beautiful environment that maintained the warm and friendly atmosphere we’ve cultivated at our Round Rock practice.”
The new office is open, and Dr. Kerr says a grand opening event is being planned, but a specific date has yet to be set.
In addition to their 2 practice locations, Synergy offers a state-of-the-art surgical center adjacent to its Round Rock office. Patients who get surgical procedures ranging from breast augmentation to facelift performed by the Austin surgeons are welcomed at Stonegate Plastic Surgery Center.
Dr. Kerr and Dr. Blagg say that even as the city grows, Synergy continues to value the one-on-one patient experience that has been part of the practice’s family-oriented feeling since it first opened.
“We are a smaller practice, so the staff knows you by name and recognizes your face when you come through the door,” Dr. Blagg says. “We’ve worked hard to keep that personal feel as we grow to provide more services and locations.”
