This 52-year-old female came to see our doctors at our cosmetic practice in search of a way to remove unwanted fat from her back, stomach, and love handles. She previously had an abdominoplasty by another surgeon 5-years prior. She was referred by several of her family members who had already chosen our doctors for their plastic surgery makeovers. Like many people in Austin, Texas this patient led a fit lifestyle but was unable to make certain fat deposits go away on her own with diet and exercise.

During her complimentary cosmetic consultation with our doctor he patiently told her how liposuction works, and discussed the possible benefits for her individual scenario. He showed her how he would make very small incisions that would be nearly invisible after she was done healing.

On the day of her surgery, she went completely asleep under the watchful eye of a trained anesthesiologist. Our doctor removed all of the fatty deposits from her stomach, back, and love handles in about 1 hour. When she awoke she had little pain from the surgery because of the local anesthesia our doctor uses during liposuction.

At her final visit, the results were dramatic. She now had the flat stomach and smooth sides that she always wanted. Her back, belly, and sides now have a sculpted look that she could not achieve on her own. She was thrilled with the results and was motivated to continue working out and eating right.
