This 56-year-old female from Round Rock, Texas was interested in her options for breast reduction. Her breasts where very large and heavy--she was having problems with back pain, shoulder pain, moisture buildup, clothes not fitting properly, and limited physical activity. She did her research and came prepared for the appointment with our doctors at the plastic surgery office near Austin, Texas.

He submitted a request to her insurance company and appealed their initial denials until he was able to get insurance to pay for her surgery.
On the day of surgery she went to St. David’s Medical Center near Austin, Texas and placed several marks on her breasts as a road map to use during surgery. Her surgery took a few hours and afterwards she went home with her family.A special pain On-Q pump that infused Novocain into her breasts was used and this really improved her recovery and helped her get off pain medication quickly.
The photos speak for themselves. Although she is only a few months out from breast reductionsurgery the size and shape of her breast are dramatically improved. The scars are hidden nicely in the natural folds of the breast and around the areola. She is thrilled with her results and really enjoyed the freedom that breast reduction surgery has given her both in physical activity and her overall comfort and appearance.
