This female patient in her 40’s came to see our doctors at the Austin area plastic surgery practice to discuss liposuction of her inner/outer thighs as part of a larger mommy makeover surgery also involving a tummy tuck, breast lift, and breast augmentation. She had stubborn fatty deposits that she was unable to improve with diet and exercise alone. Like many women who live in Killeen, Texas and other Austin area towns she decided that she wanted to improve her body and booked a consultation with our doctor to learn more about what options were available to improve the contour of her thighs.

During her initial consultation our doctor spend time discussing liposuction. He commonly uses a type called VASER ® Lipo which uses an ultrasonic probe at the tip to break up the fat and help promote skin contraction. He discussed that a few very small incisions would be needed and talked with her about what type of results she could expect.

The day of surgery our doctor met her at the hospital, placed a few marks on her legs as a guide and accompanied her to the operating room. Liposuction of the thighs takes about one hour.

Now that she has recovered from surgery she is very happy with the improved contour of her legs. The flatter outer and inner thighs better match new body after her breasts and abdomen were also improved..
