This 18-year-old came to see our doctors at our Round Rock, Texas location to discuss ways that she could improve the shape. She had a wide nose and wide nasal tip and she wanted to have these refined with surgery. She wanted to find out more about how a rhinoplasty and could help improve her looks and achieve a nose that better fit her face.

During her consultation, and it was pointed changes that could be made to her nose to improve its shape and definition. She wanted a shape that better fit her face and that had a more feminine look. Our doctor carefully looked inside her nose and determined that surgery inside the nose on the septum would not be needed. He recommended an open rhinoplasty which places a small incision on the columella between the nostrils but otherwise has no visible incisions.

In surgery, our doctor carefully reshaped the tip of her nose and narrowed the bones on the bridge. Her surgery took about 4 hours. She slept comfortably through the procedure and was monitored by an anesthesiologist. Her surgery was performed near Austin, Texas at St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center.

When she returned in follow-up, she was delighted with natural appearance of her face. She really loves the new shape of her nose and the confidence that rhinoplasty surgery performed near Austin, Texas has given her.
